Fees and Billing Arrangements at Noosa GP

In order for us to maintain and provide quality care and equipment, and to service the community, fees apply.

A copy of our fee schedule and billing policy is located at reception. All patients will need to finalise their accounts at the time of consultation.

Noosa General Practice is a mixed billing practice.

* We charge $90 for a standard consultation, a higher fee will be charged for a long or procedural consultation. However if you hold a current Pension Card (Card Holders must present card at each visit) you will be bulk billed. This also applies to children 15 years and under.

Healthcare card holders we charge a reduced fee of $70.

DVA Card Holders are billed directly to Veteran Affairs.

* Please Note:

  • A higher consultation fee is charged for visitors and overseas patients including children.
  • A non-attendance fee of $50 will be incurred for failure to notify the practice in sufficient time that you cannot attend.

Payment facilities include Eftpos, we accept most major cards and cash.

Please ask at reception for a full explanation in relation to our fees if required.

Patients Participation and Inclusion in decisions about their Health Care

Our doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers inform their patients of the purpose, importance, benefits, risks and possible costs of proposed
investigations referrals or treatments, including medicines and medicine safety. We believe that patients need to receive sufficient information to
allow them to make informed decisions about their care.

We acknowledge the traditional landowners of Australia and welcome all Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people to our Surgery.
